OLG Engineering provided MEP engineering services for a new 20,000 square feet addition that included 100 beds, as well as expansion plans for future beds, sheriff’s office, booking, prisoner intake area,and court facilities to turn the jail into a justice center. As part of this expansion the existing kitchen was upgraded to meet the new prisoner population demand and several areas were renovated to provide a more secure facility. The jail houses maximum, medium,and minimum security prisoners and also has special needs, medical, and detoxification cells.

Lincoln County Jail had substantial needs for bedding space for females and males in a dormitory setting, as well as juvenile holding. Issues that were resolved were: expanding the medical facilities; upgrading kitchen operations; and expanding booking intake by capturing the existing intake/sallyport for booking and holding, then adding a new vehicular sallyport.
